We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Driver Trainer / Assessor for our Victorian division to join our senior leadership team.
The Exciting Opportunity
Reporting to the State Manager, the Driver Trainer / Assessor is responsible for training and assessing new and existing employees in core programs (OH&S, Quality and Road Law Compliance and Customer Service) with the Victorian Operations Divisions.

Your Responsibilities
- Assessing new applicants driving skills and competency
- Conducting training sessions related to operational needs
- Assessing existing workforce skill and comprehension in general SOP, policy and procedure.
- Delivering training programs and assessment according to set schedules.
- Conducting on the job driving assessments for existing employees.
To be successful in the role you will have exceptional skills in:
- Transport industry knowledge, including general freight, load restraint, DG regulations and OH&S requirements.
- Hold a current Drivers Licence & Dangerous Goods Licence
- Experience in Chain of Responsibility, DG transportation, Fuels Liquids or Gases.
- Certificate IV in training and assessment desirable
- Experience in conducting on-road and operational assessments.
- Ability to deliver and coach employees in correct operating procedures.
