About the Role:

The E-Commerce Category Manager will co-ordinate digital content, manage product listings, maintain multiple sites, respond to web enquiries and execute the marketing activities for the company and third party/affiliate sites.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Website management, ensuring all current products are placed correctly with accurate pricing, obsolete products are removed, changed or updated accordingly, and ensuring that product changes are communicated clearly to the business
• Develop and execute an effective e-commerce strategy
• Identify market trends and opportunities to expand the online presence and sales
• Oversee the continuous improvement of the design, functionality, and user experience of our e-commerce websites
• Ensure the website is maintaining an effective SEO plan
• Manage the online product catalogue, including product listings, descriptions, and pricing
• Work closely with the purchasing team to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information
• Execute online marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising
• Monitor website traffic, conversion rates, and customer behaviour to optimise sales and marketing efforts
• Ensure a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
• Manage order fulfilment, shipping, and returns efficiently
• A strong background in ecommerce product management

Your Skills and Experience:

• You are an accomplished Product or Category Manager with extensive experience in e-commerce inventory management, as well as website and CRM management 
• You can analyse channel effectiveness using data analytics platforms, and produce meaningful reports, anticipating changes/issues and providing options for changes where required
• You have high attention to detail, thorough planning skills, and a successful track record in product growth through excellent product planning, organizing and promotion
• Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably in the IT/Electronics industry
• Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and technologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Google Ads certified
