Early Childhood Co-Educator Positions Based In Moonee Valley

BPA Children's Services (BPA) is a not-for-profit organisation that manages 29 Kindergartens and 7 Long Day Care Centres in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.  At BPA we strive to provide high quality Early Childhood education across all of our services, with over 70% rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards.  Our values include inclusiveness, quality, leadership, integrity and collaboration, with a strong focus on staff wellbeing.  

We're currently seeking a number of Early Childhood Co-Educator's to fill vacancies at BPA managed Kindergartens in the Moonee Valley area.

Please refer below for centre locations and session days: 

• St Aidan's Preschool
  Location: Strathmore
  Part Time (Rotational Group)
  3 & 4YO Co-Educator - Diploma Qualified
  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (37.75 total hours per week)
   
• St Brendan's Kindergarten
  Location: Flemington
  Part Time (Red Group)
  4YO Co-Educator - Diploma Qualified
  Tuesday, Thursday (18.75 total hours per week)

Please Note: the total hours listed include non-contact time and may be required to be completed on a separate day.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assist with the program and daily routines, as directed by the Teacher.
• Contribute to the planning cycle, by documenting spontaneous learning experiences and modifications.
• Assist the Teacher in the provision of a healthy, safe and welcoming environment for the children and families attending the service.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA).
• Valid Working with Children Check and a Police Check are mandatory.
• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards.
• The right to work in Australia.
• Experience working with children with a wide range of diverse additional needs.
