Shore’s Early Learning Centre is part of the Preparatory School, located on the Northbridge campus, and runs on extended hours for children aged 3-5 years. Operating from 8.00am – 6.00pm, 48 weeks of the school year, our team members work eight hour shifts as rostered across the centre’s opening hours.
We are seeking an experienced and talented Early Childhood Educator to join our team in the delivery of our centre’s education and care programmes.

The successful candidate will have:
- An ACECQA-approved education and care qualification equivalent to diploma level or above;
- An ACECQA recognised Child Protection qualification.
- Either a current Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting or First Aid Certificate (combined with Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management training) Statement of Attainment.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an accredited centre;
- Commitment to high-quality pedagogy and educational practice;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
- Prior experience and demonstrated capability in all aspects of planning and programming for individuals and groups of children (aged 3-5 years);
- A working understanding of the cycle of planning for children in an Early Childhood educational setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability to engage with children, parents/guardians and other staff.
- Proficiency in the use of computing technology, in particular, the Word and PowerPoint applications within Microsoft Office; and
- An approachable, enthusiastic and team-orientated attitude.
