Salary:
Early Childhood Educators- Cert III- $63,316.57 - $68,504.94 (hourly rate $32.04 - $34.67)
Early Childhood Educators- Diploma- $69, 505.50 - $74,866.87 (hourly rate $35.17 to $37.89)
Kindergarten Educator Level 2 (Diploma level) + 10 weeks paid term break leave - $61,485 to $66,226 (hourly rate $31.12 to $33.52)

Yarra City Council Children’s Services are seeking dedicated educators for our Long Day Care and Kindergarten programs in Richmond, Fitzroy, Collingwood and North Carlton.

Early Childhood Educators employed at Yarra enjoy the generous employment conditions of the Yarra City Council Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 including:
Annual increments
Dedicated off-the-floor planning time (pro-rata)
Cert 3 – 2 hours
Diploma – 4 hours
Educators working in a funded kindergarten program (8 hours)
Full time 52/52 educator receive a monthly RDO

To be successful in this role, the following is required:
Minimum qualification of Certificate 3 or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, (or equivalent)
Up to date First Aid, CPR, EpiPen and Asthma Management qualifications
Valid Working with Children Check
Demonstrated ability to facilitate responsive routines and programs guided by the approved learning frameworks
Current mandatory reporting training
Team focused approach
