What you’ll be doing:
As the door opens at our multicultural centre you will notice large nature based play spaces and a warm home like learning environment, in a quiet suburban area. You will welcome our children and families with a smile and work collaboratively with our Educators, to ensure our children enjoy a safe, hygienic, and inspiring spaces to learn and grow. You’ll promote YMCA’s values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and care, maintain high quality programs, manage compliance, and truly engage with our wonderful children and families. At the end of your shift, you’ll walk out the door, still smiling, knowing the children are continuing to develop in body, mind, and spirit.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Have infectious enthusiasm and passion in early years education and care
- Have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Can obtain a HLTAID012 First Aid certificate or equivalent
- Understand the National Quality Framework & National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012
- Have previous experience in children services, developing and implementing programs for 0-to-5-year olds
- Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
