Your main responsibilities will be
- Identify the strengths, capacity and capability of educators to then customise plans to individual service needs.
- Promote Inlcusion, focusing on all childrens voices.
- Work closely withimportant stakeholders, school diverse learning teams as well as Inclusion Support agencies to deliver Inclusion Support, which is flexible and responsive to the needs of the Inclusion Support Program (ISP) Guidelines.
To be successful you will have
- A University qualification in Education (early/middle childhood) and/or Special Education specialisation
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis and CPR
- Identify & respond to children and young people at risk of significant harm
- Current NSW driver's licence and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle.
- A valid NSW Working with Children Check clearance number
It is Essential you have:
- 5 years teaching experience in Early Childhood
- Experienced in various Inclusion Support settings
- Skilled in supporting educators using a play-based approach
- Proficient in handling funding applications for Inclusion Support Program
- Capable of developing Inclusion and Behavior Support Plans
- Effective communicator with families, children, and educators in inclusive environments
- Experienced in facilitating children's transitions between educational settings
- Committed to continuous professional learning and development
- Possesses high-level written, oral, and presentation skills
