This full-time role, commencing in February 2024 is with a boutique early learning service that caters to 60 children at full occupancy.
The service is beautiful, with lots of natural light and airy, generously sized rooms in tranquil surroundings. The centre is easily accessible by public transport and has free off-street parking. The service employs an approach that nurtures children's natural curiosity and love for learning through play while focusing on building trusting and positive relationships.
You will lead, motivate and inspire a small team of experienced and long-standing educators who are genuinely dedicated to the families and local community.
About you
These roles suit candidates who are strong in creating high-quality education programs that empower independent little learners and nurture their curious minds. You will also need to have the following:
- A growth mindset with a love of learning
- Degree qualification in Children's Services as approved by ACECQA (preferred) or at least a Diploma.
- A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
- Prior experience and confidence in leading a pre-school age room
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers.
- Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
- The ability to implement stimulating programs and develop a curriculum based on the children's interests and the EYLF.
- The ability to observe and record learning and contribute to their educational portfolios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
