About the role:
- Use your creativity to lead the program and set up engaging environments, whilst creating meaningful relationships with the children and families in your care.
- Plan and implement well-structured, age-appropriate learning goals and teaching programs that engage our children.
- Able to provide strong foundations for children’s learning and development and have an affinity for working with children, engaging with and be responsive to emotional needs of our children
- You will have a working knowledge of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline, Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework, and knowledge of Early Childhood development.
- You will be supported with a resources budget, a friendly, motivated team environment, and an experienced Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader.
- Provide and maintain a safe and supportive environment for both children and parents, as well as team members.
- Document the delivery of the educational program, children's interests and assessments of their learning and development needs.
- Provide and maintain a supportive environment for children, families, carers, and other team members that is safe, inclusive and fun.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships and effective communication with families whilst encouraging passion, enthusiasm, and excellence to our team.
About you:
- Diploma qualified or studying towards
- Blue Card, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, CPR and First Aid certificates, or willingness to obtain.
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework.
- Willingness to embrace the company vision, values, and culture statement.
- Ability to work within a team of Early Childhood professionals taking the lead as required.
- Passion, enthusiasm and ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, their families and your colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
