AddressFroebel Carlton is one of 5 Early Learning services run by the not-for-profit provider Froebel Australia. The centre provides inspiring learning environments on 3 floors plus a rooftop playground for 97 children from 6 months to 6 years and islocated at the heart of the University of Melbourne’s Melbourne Connect. The state-of-the-art centre opened in January 2022. Our educational program focuses on immersive language learning (second language:Spanish) and inquiry-based Early Learning by implementing the Little Scientists (https://littlescientists.org.au/) program. We are looking for a committed & creative Centre Chef to start late July 2024. The role is for 37.5 hours per week worked across 5 days (7.5 hours per day).

The successful candidate will:
- hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- have previous experience in a similar setting; Early Learning would be an advantage
- hold a Working with Children Check (or be willing to apply for one)
- be knowledgeable and extremely diligent with food allergies and intolerances
- be highly organised, effective with time management, and able to plan ahead
- be interested in working with children
- have a sunny personality with a positive mindset!
