We are located at the Paris end of Collins street, Philippe is a casual, warm restaurant that serves traditional French fair with some modern touches.
To be successful in this application, it is essential you have/are
- Ensuring the highest attention to detail is taken at all stages of the cooking process
- Prepare and cook food in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills, receptive to feedback
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation
- at least one year experience in a similar role
- Fully qualified as a chef
As a chef de Partie, you would be responsible for,
- Preparing, cooking and serving food in accordance with menus ensuring high level of quality and presentation is achieved at all times according to agreed standards.
- Keep abreast of current food trend and techniques
- Planning menus, estimation food and labour costs and ordering food supplies
- Oversee the appropriate receiving and storage of food ingredients
- Foster a sound relationship with kitchen and front of house staff
- Select and provide training to kitchen staff
- Maintain kitchen equipment and plant in good condition
- Maintain HACCP procedures and practices
