We wish to complement our existing ECI team with an experienced ECI Manager (or a Lead/Senior Estimator looking to advance your career) within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business based in Fortitude Valley. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Management of ECI Phases, RAMP Management and Total Outturn Cost (TOC) process
  • Represent Fulton Hogan in dealing with Client interface in all ECI/Tender phase meetings/correspondence and negotiations, from issue/allocation of tender to submission of bid/RAMP
  • Evaluating Procurement Packages (RFT responses) and oversight of selection of preferred supplier/subcontractor's pricing in the estimate
  • Leading detailed reviews of cost estimates with Senior Estimators, Pre-Contracts Manager, Bid Manager, Delivery Personnel and Senior Management
  • Building a high-performance team; mentor, guide and inspire team members.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • A degree level qualification in Engineering and/ or Construction disciplines
  • Proven experience in ECI Management and demonstrated understanding of complex project technical issues, industry standards and specifications
  • Extensive Estimating and Bid Managing experience ideally within Water
  • An influential communicator with the ability to build and maintain rapport with key stakeholders
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers, drive performance, resolve disputes and implement contract variations
  • Experienced user of Expert Estimator will be highly regarded
