The Ecommerce Executive will join a dynamic digital team, working alongside the Ecommerce Manager, and their primary responsibilities will traverse digital product management, including asset management, product description, tagging, and SEO optimisation.

They will work closely with the Ecommerce Manager on the maintenance and development of the brand website to deliver a functional and progressive online experience through UX, eCommerce initiatives, SEO optimisation, and online marketing tactics. 

Alongside this, they will support the expansion and optimisation of the brand’s organic and paid digital channels, in accordance with the objectives of the online business, and will coordinate product merchandising in alignment with the digital calendar to increase sales, conversion, and overall site aesthetic.

The successful Ecommerce Executive will also assist in customer service when needed, troubleshooting technical issues, adjacent to which, they will monitor web analytics and drive reporting to improve the effectiveness of all digital channels.

Additional accountabilities of this role include overseeing staff orders, managing products for online and marketing shoots, and along with Logistics to manage the process between the arrivals of stock to warehouse and online publication.

The candidate we seek will hold a robust understanding of Fashion, Online Marketing, and Ecommerce landscape.

They will have the ability to think globally while maintaining a commercial awareness and customer focus.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience across social media, email marketing, ERP systems (preferably Indigo8) and Zendesk or Gorgias, and must have previous experience with Shopify Plus.

They will have the ability to self-manage, show initiative, and effectively meet and exceed deadlines, with scrupulous attention to detail, and the ability to think globally, maintaining a perpetual awareness of industry trends and digital progression.

Our ideal candidate will have a vested interest in sustainability, designer fashion, and a rounded understanding of the Ecommerce landscape, with two to three years’ experience in a similar trading role.

KEY ROLES

  • Manage promotions and product launches, in line with the marketing calendar and digital initiatives.
  • Managing all site content including homepage, product descriptions, images, and collections.
  • Ensuring the quality and consistency of the content is accurate, relevant, displayed effectively and optimised for conversion and SEO.
  • Monitor and Quality control the site daily to identify potential issues and ensure the highest standard of customer experience is always delivered.
  • Assist in Customer Service management
  • Working closely with the design/development agencies on new website features, being responsible for testing and QA, supporting technical implementation of website updates and deployments.
  • Ownership of on-site search and merchandising, driving cross-/up-sell to increase conversion rate and AOV. 
  • Working closely with the Ecommerce Manager on CRO, website testing and personalisation.
  • Assist the Ecommerce Manager with monthly ecommerce and post-campaign reports, focusing on website performance, including traffic, conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, loyalty and revenue.
  • Work closely with the Ecommerce Manager on customer journey and digital experience analytics, to continuously improve the website and deliver actionable business insights for the marketing team and wider business departments
  • Support with the management of third-party partner agencies across web development, coordinating the execution of existing strategies whilst working collaboratively to develop new and future initiatives. 
  • Ensuring relevant internal departments are kept informed of all website and ecommerce updates so we can always deliver the best customer experience.
  • Work closely with our Logistics teams to ensure stock availability.
  • Self-manage day-to-day duties, and responsible for project timelines and prioritizing workload
  • Own the product feed for the e-commerce department, including merchandising and planning product highlights for social channels, EDMs and website content based on sell-through and inventory levels.
  • Preparing frequent refill and re-cut proposals based on product performance & inventory levels. 
  • Assisting with seasonal orders by preparing necessary reports and order formatting 

 REQUIREMENTS

•   Ecommerce/Digital Marketing and/or relevant Digital Technology tertiary qualification and/or related work experience.

•   2+ years’ experience in a similar role

•   Demonstrated Shopify experience, you’ll be able to hit the ground running.

•   Proficiency with Google Analytics and an ability to deep dive into the data to make suggestions on workflow redesigns or conversion optimisations.

•   Experience working with A/B testing and personalization tools.

•   Demonstrated high level experience using Microsoft Excel for reporting.

•   Exposure to UX/UI with understanding of customer journey, optimisation and conversion rate improvement

•   A strong understanding of user experience, digital design and development techniques.

•   Proven experience executing digital projects and initiatives within time guidelines.
