Sacred Heart School is a single-stream Catholic Primary School located in the heart of Mundaring. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and exceptional Special NeedsEducation Assistant (Primary) to join our school on a temporary part-time basis (0.6 FTE) commencing Term 2, 2024.
Selection Criteria
The successful application will:
• Qualifications and/or experience in working with students with additional needs and/or specific learning difficulties (applicants without Special Needs qualifications are welcome to apply).
• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Display a committed and enthusiastic approach to working with children, with the ability to develop positive and constructive relationships.
• Work positively with teacher direction, as part of a dedicated, collaborative and enthusiastic team.
• Exhibit a friendly, open and approachable manner and be supportive of the Catholic Ethos.Qualifications Required
Certificate IV Education Assistant (desirable).
