Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working model:
- 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
- 2 days from an RACP office location per week,
- 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.
About the Role
The primary role of the Education Development Officer is to work with the Program Implementation team to support implementation of new training programs across Australia and New Zealand. This role involves designing and developing communication and engagement materials, associated education and visual materials, learning resources, and training material; creating and implementing operational plans, and providing quality support and training to key stakeholders involved in the implementation of the new programs.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the development and implementation of the College curricula for Basic and Advanced Training
- Develop communication plans and collateral, change management strategies and stakeholder engagement activities to support the roll out of new training initiatives
- Design and deliver training materials and learning resources; develop and deliver workshops to support implementation of new programs
- Act as a key contact for change champions and training operations staff
- Prepare and present reports on implementation for key stakeholders
- Collaborate within the team and with other business units to plan for full implementation of the new programs including evaluation activities and transition of the project to business as usual operations
- Contribute to work on other education projects as required
What You Bring
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications (e.g. Adult Education, Change Management) and/or extensive relevant experience
- Knowledge or experience of the methods used to research, develop, write, and implement educational curriculum or professional/industry-based training.
- Demonstrated experience in development of change and communication strategy and associated content
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- High level written and oral communication skills
- Ability to translate documents and educational concepts into a range of suitable formats and graphics for communication and training purposes
- Knowledge of or experience with change management methodology
