The Opportunity As an Education Officer you will be responsible for:· providing Education Services for children who come under the care of, or to the attention of the Department.· developing and maintaining education programs and supports to children, schools, carers and/or families.· consulting and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.· providing educational and social skill development to the child, family or caregiver where appropriate. All overseas qualifications must have been assessed for Australian Equivalency.
