About the opportunity
Do you have a background within the veterinary profession or adult learning and looking for a different way to utilise your skills? The Centre for Veterinary Education (CVE) is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Education Program Developer. If you are a great communicator and administration whiz with experience in education, this could be the role for you.
You will be responsible for the project management of a portfolio of veterinary continuing education courses as part of the CVE's small and enthusiastic education team. In this role, collaboration is key; you will work closely with our other Education Program Developers and the CVE's customer support and marketing teams, as well as our tutors and participants.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- project manage the running of a portfolio of veterinary CE courses
- coordinate the logistics for the courses, including scheduling meetings with tutors, planning of events in various locations, sourcing appropriate venues and resources
- coordinate the compilation of course content and materials and upload to the online Learning Management System
- build relationships and manage communication with course stakeholders
- represent CVE at a range of functions including outside of standard working hours in a professional and discreet manner including performing 'meet and greet' and front-of-house duties
- ensure course content is delivered in alignment with current continuing education practices
- provide LMS support for CVE tutors, staff and course participants.

About you

- certificate IV training design & assessment qualification and applicable experience
- working experience as a veterinary nurse or equivalent (desirable)
- sound knowledge of contemporary learning issues and adult learning principles
- excellent computing (Microsoft Office suite) skills, including design packages, database usage and online learning platforms (e.g. Moodle, Canvas etc)
- layout design, content development and editorial skills
- skills and experience in design and delivery of continuing education
- demonstrated capability in project management
- experience in the veterinary profession is highly desirable.
