About the Company
Market leading Manufacturing business based in Greater Western Sydney are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join their team. The role will be responsible for managing health & safety initiatives and compliance across multiple sites locally and interstate.
About the Position
- Provide strategic WHS guidance to the business by coaching leaders on policies, standards and best practice;
- Lead WHS governance and influence a safety first culture;
- Develop aligned WHS strategies with stakeholders across the business;
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations through registers;
- Enhance whs management systems;
- Manage whs metrics, reporting, and incident investigations;
- Conduct audits, risk assessment and implement controls;
- Drive high-risk WHS programs across all sites;
- Assist with training and coordination of safety training across all sites; and
- Manage workers compensation claims and Return to Work.
Skills and experience required
- Previous WHS experience, ideally within blue-collar manufacturing industry;
- Extensive knowledge of legislative requirements;
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills;
- Proven experience in driving a safety first culture;
- Pro-active, professional and can-do attitude;
- Return to work and workers compensation experience; and
- Drivers license and ability to travel interstate bi-monthly.
