The Opportunity
Working with qualified and skilled electricians, you will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a leader in the electrical contracting business who service large Retail, Healthcare, Education and Government clients (including Correctional Facilities and Defence Sites).
A very varied client base means you could be replacing streetlights one day, and testing and tagging the next. It will also involve RCD testing, switchboard upgrading and maintenance, as well as Fault Finding and thermal imaging.
Requirements
- Construction or labouring experience
- Driver’s licence (and ability to drive manual car)
- Reliability with a positive attitude
- 'Can do' attitude
- Ability to work autonomously
- Full working rights in Australia
- Police check – or be willing to obtain
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Genuine interest in electrical industry
Ideal (however not essential)
- Completed Certificate II in Electrotechnology pre-apprenticeship
- Experience in the field
- Own tools
- A white card
This role offers an immediate start.
This is a full time position working 7:30am – 4pm Monday – Friday with monthly RDOs! There will also overtime available.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
