In fact, we have work in hand that takes us through to 2032 and beyond.Based in Brisbane, you will be part of dynamic, innovative, and collaborative team renowned for its world-class thinking and solutions.Key accountabilities:Execute assignments in the office or the field in signal engineering work and associated railway construction activities.Carry out signalling circuit design, preparation of control tables, cost estimates and specifications.Conduct validation checking of safety critical signalling designs as directed and check the work of technical staff assigned to the same project in the office or the field.Comply with all Heath Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and initiatives.Support the Senior Signalling/Electrical Engineer and the wider construction team in the execution of the ETCS L2 project.Key knowledge and experience:Degree in signalling and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent that aligns with corporate membership of Engineers Australia.Familiar with technical documents, drawings, and schematics.Time management, communication, planning and organizational skills.Knowledge of software tools and technical systems.Experience in a construction environment.Flexible and results focused.At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
