Make your mark in the formation of a new team! We are proud of the work we produce and the long-standing relationships we build and are now seeking Expressions of Interest from Estimators, with an electrical background, who would like to join a new business unit within Ertech.
This opportunity will allow you to manage and price a select portfolio of your own projects, work closely with our in-house delivery leads to understand complex scopes of work, develop bespoke delivery methodologies, and ensure the overall accuracy of our tender.
Reporting to our WA-based Operations Manager (Electrical), this role will focus on the delivery of project and maintenance tenders for electrical works associated with resource, public infrastructure and civil construction works currently identified within our tender pipeline based in Western Australia.
Your role:
Develop and prepare first principal estimates across a range of projects which may include transport, near shore marine infrastructure, electrical & services installation, community infrastructure, and other electrical related packages.
Manage your strong local network and existing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes/ pricing.
Assist with overall constructability reviews, work sequencing and if required, assist with any necessary design interface.
Attend site visits and conduct client briefings.
Assist with tender reviews incorporating feedback and re-pricing.
For successful awards, assist with the project handovers to project teams.
Your background:
Previous experience with resource and public infrastructure projects will be highly regarded as will your previous estimating experience.
Electrical Trade or Engineering qualifications are preferred.
Demonstrated experience as an Estimator in relation to electrical packages.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
