About The Role
MinRes is a globally significant lithium producer with world-class assets. These include two of the world's largest hard-rock lithium mines, Mt Marion and Wodgina, as well as our recently acquired Bald Hill operation.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will work on an 8:6 roster and oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems within the processing plant at our Mt Marion mine in Western Australia.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the planned and unplanned maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Liaising with the planning team to ensure preventive strategies deliver high levels of equipment reliability.
- Driving the efficient utilisation of parts, equipment, and labour resources.
- Promoting a focus on cost control to positively impact budgets.
- Ensuring all statutory work is completed as required and that appropriate records are maintained.
- Fostering a work environment that prioritises safety in all aspects of our operations.
What You Will Bring to The Team
You will have a strong maintenance background within processing plants, including several years of team leadership experience as a supervisor. Your expertise will also include familiarity with Australian electrical standards and mining safety regulations.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- You must have the following certificates, tickets, and licences:
- Current WA A Grade Electrical Licence,
- High Voltage (HV) Switching,
- Applied First Aid,
- Low Voltage Rescue & CPR,
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
- A Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation.
- Eligibility to be appointed as an In-house Electrical Nominee.
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate (or Section 44).
