We are seeking an experienced Electronic Equipment Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on dust collector systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity, including cleaning and inspecting electrical components, and lubricating moving parts.
- Read codes, wiring diagrams and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components.
- Provide technical assistance and resolution when electronic problems are encountered before, during, and after installations.
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers’ representatives as necessary to obtain replacement parts.
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with collector systems, utilizing electronic testing equipment and schematics to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Repair or replace faulty components within vacuum systems, such as motors, sensors, control panels, and circuit boards, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Calibrate electronic controls and sensors within vacuum systems to maintain accuracy and consistency in performance, adhering to industry standards and specifications.
- Perform safety inspections on vacuum systems to identify potential hazards or compliance issues, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on vacuum systems, documenting findings and recommendations for future reference.
Requirements:
- AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV in a closely related field, or at least 3 years of experience
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum plus benefits, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
