The Role
Ventia are looking to engage an experienced and qualified Electronic Technician to support our team working on the Defence Maintenance Contract. Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, this role will see you perform maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding of electronic devices including communication and navigation equipment, sighting systems and computers, as well as electronic equipment within vehicles and associated equipment.
This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday - Friday, 07:00am to 03:45pm with a 12:00pm finish on Fridays (38hours per week) and will see you based at Palmer Barracks in South Guildford.
To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct maintenance tasks including servicing, inspection and repair of electronic devices
- Attend to breakdowns in electronic and communications equipment
- Troubleshooting digital subsystems, amplifiers and circuits as well as fault-finding within complex power supplies
- Servicing a range of signals and systems including; Fire and alarm systems, analogue digital and data signals, broadcast, microwave and satellite technology
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Communication
- Current WA Driver's License
- Experience with electronic communications equipment and technology
- Electrical Integrity Testing - Desirable
- Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning - Desirable
