Burgess Training is searching for a Casual Trainer who is passionate about training in a practical, fun, and approachable environment to facilitate fire and Emergency Response sessions for clients at their workplace.
This is a great opportunity for a person with a background in the health, education, or emergency services fields to apply their relevant experience and skills.
About the role
• Training for fire safety and extinguishers and fire wardens.
• Facilitate specialised Emergency Response training for clients.
• Conduct evacuation exercises.
• Assist with emergency plans and planning.
• Assist with evacuation diagrams for clients (markup and install)
• Training delivery mostly within usual business hours.

• You are capable of training autonomously and are resourceful under pressure.
• You are very reliable and have a flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
Mandatory Requirements
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (or willing to update).
• Your own reliable vehicle and driver’s license.
• Current National Police Check (or willing to undertake).
• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to undertake).
Highly Desirable
•Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122
•Experience in Emergency Response
• Willingness to travel outside of Griffith
