We have a new full-time position for a Workplace Emergency Trainer/Consultant in Sydney.

Feeling stale in your current role? We offer variety in your work week. A typical week could include Emergency response training, observing evacuation exercises, site attendances to develop emergency plans & evacuation diagrams or facilitating planning meetings for organisations. We also understand that some of these tasks may be new to you and to assist you onboarding, we have a very responsive & experienced team who can help you achieve these skills.
With a wide client base, training is also carried out in both regional areas & interstate. Typically, working away from home is collated into a week each month, which is allocated in consultation with you. As they say, travel broadens the mind & when working away from home you will gain local knowledge & be able to share it with other communities. We know that Emergency Response isn’t a one size fits all.

Essential Criteria
- Be willing to deliver Emergency Response training
- General Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook skills
- High level written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work as part of a small team
- Be able to work autonomously
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Able to travel to clients (Transport provided)
- Be prepared for interstate travel and remote area travel (Approximately 6 nights a month)
Highly Regarded
- Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment
- Fire Safety Advisor Qualification
- Some proven Professional Emergency Service Background Volunteered or Paid
Responsibilities
- Prepare, deliver and develop Emergency Response Training
- Report writing
- Inspections of Workplaces for emergency management compliance
- Knowledge of Planning for emergencies in facilities AS 3745 -2010
- Site inspections for evacuation diagrams and emergency management plans
- Facilitating Emergency Planning Committee meetings
- Pre and Post Training Administration
