Emergency Services Officer

Due to a promotion we have an opportunity for an Emergency Services Officer to join our South Walker Creek Mine.

As Emergency Services Officer you will be responsible for providing emergency response assistance to CMW's at the mine, working in with the medical services teams, site access requirements, guidance and support within the HSEC team for various programs and initiatives across the mine. This is a Wednesday to Tuesday (DS / NS) 7 on / 7 off rostered site-based role.

What we would love to see in you to make this a success…

• Current certificate 3 in emergency response and rescue
• Hold a current drug and alcohol tester qualification
• A certificate 4 in training and assessing is desirable
• Have a collaborative working style with the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships across functional teams whilst working within a small team
• Awareness of site access processes and systems
• Worked in a mine site environment previously
• Current Australian drivers license
• Demonstrated natural ability to lead small groups
