An opportunity has become available for an experienced professional with a hands-on approach to join our People Operations and Strategy team. Reporting to the Workplace Relations Counsel, this role will be responsible for providing accurate and timely advice to employees across the full range of Employee Relations issues, whilst ensuring people practices are compliant with Wilson Group policies and processes, along with relevant legislative requirements.

Responsible for supporting our Wilson Security's QLD business, you will work closely with the other HRBPs / Employee Relations Advisor's in the team. You will have a strong focus on Employee Relations and dispute resolution. Integral to your success will be your customer focused people practices and your ability to role model our organisational values.
Your responsibilities
- Case management of ER matters, ensuring outcomes are within policy framework and legislative requirements
- Escalate ER/IR matters where required
- Mediating and resolving people issues, using well developed problem-solving and negotiation skills, whilst maintaining confidentiality
- Facilitation of training as and when required
To be considered for this position we are looking for the following;
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or similar or be able to demonstrate relative experience in a similar position
- Professional experience (min 3 years) in a blue-collar environment including Employee Relations and dispute resolution
- Experience with utilising HRIS systems, preferably SAP Success Factors
- Sound knowledge of the statutory and regulatory framework in which Employee Relations operates
- Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including delivering presentations and facilitating group work
- Have conflict resolution skills and be solutions-focused
Job Offer
This is a Part-time position 30.4 hours per week with either a four-day work week Monday-Thursday 9-5 or a five-day work week Monday-Friday 9-3. The role offers a competitive salary, great company benefits, and the opportunity to build and develop a meaningful long-term career.
