The Opportunity
Are you passionate about industry engagement and eager to contribute your expertise to drive impactful initiatives forward? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Engagement Officer to provide a range of high-level administrative and project coordination services to support industry engagement in the Portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Senior Vice-President (Enterprise and Engagement).
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for a range of engagement support services such as assisting with project scoping and identifying deliverables, monitoring and reporting on project progress, developing and collating documents, reports and correspondence, coordinating and providing executive support to project committees and meetings. You will also be responsible for planning and undertaking industry engagement related tasks, ensuring they are completed in accordance with agreed standards and timeframes.
To be successful in the role, you will have excellent administration and project coordination skills with the ability to support projects through to completion in accordance with agreed standards and timeframes. Highly developed planning and organisational skills, as well as strong communication and relationship building skills are also essential to be successful in this role. Excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt communication style to the audience will be critical to the success of this role.
