Engagement Specialist - Qtmp

Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to join our QTMP project team. Reporting directly to the Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of a comprehensive communications and engagement management plan to build stakeholder awareness, appreciation and support for QTMP.You will be accountable for:

• Attending regular stakeholder meetings in person to build rapport
• Preparing communications content in multiple formats
• Staffing a QTMP project information centre
• Advising and helping implement effective and influential stakeholder engagement and communications (as part of a team)
• Monitoring and maintaining awareness of ongoing stakeholder related risks, issues, and opportunities, while recommending strategy and tactics to manage stakeholder related risk and to optimise opportunities.

This is a fulltime, permanent role, and will be based in Brisbane CBD, regular travel between sites may be required.About Our Project:
QTMP is the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland's history. It includes the design, build, and maintenance of 65 brand new trains, design and build of manufacturing facilities and depots and a huge boost to local manufacturing and supply chain - a true legacy to be created for Queensland that you can be a part of!About You:

• 3+ years relevant experience in communications and stakeholder engagement
• Ideally have a background in projects and experience in the public sector
• The ability to build strong professional relationships and display confidence
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Experience in the use of Consultation Manager software
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to excel within diverse teams
