About Your Opportunity As the Dam Safety Engineer, you will assist Seqwater in managing Dam Safety requirements of Seqwater assets and meeting legislation by reviewing Emergency Action Plans, providing expert Dam Safety advice, conducting operational inspections of dams and managing Dam Safety documentation and systems.

Responsibilities: Provide sound engineering Dam Safety advice in relation to structural safety and operation of Seqwater’s dams. Contribute to the delivery of outcomes and actions that will feed into the Corporate Strategic Plan. Liaise with the Dam Safety Regulator to ensure Dam Safety work is carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Provide technical and other services under the direction of the Lead or Senior Engineer. Collect surveillance data across dams and storages. Appointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements.
