Form of workOur client is now looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to be based on the outskirts of Perth with parking. This is a global leader in their field within the mining sector who work with some of the largest mining and engineering giants in Western Australia.
We would love to hear from Engineering Managers who can lead a diverse, high-performing team across our western Australian and Asia. It's important that you know this role is crucial in improving business performance and work on various upcoming initiatives and support large-scale Mining projects in WA.
The ideal candidate will lead the technical production of engineering and drafting to ensure all the right standards and regulations are met with practical risk mitigation strategies. You will also guide and mentor lead engineers and designers in projects to achieve specified scope within the budgets on time and quality.

The matched individual to this role will have;
- Lead from the top whilst developing and inspiring others around them
- Proven experience in driving innovation, execution, and success in a multi-disciplinary team
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the engineering field or heavy industry and a minimum of 5 years as an Engineering Manager.
- Strong experience in standards and design engineering processes.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of delivering engineering designs in a complex environment.
- Direct experience with conveyors and components, pulleys and idlers would be a distinct advantage.
