Engineering Manager

What you’ll do:
The Engineering Manager for business applications is a critical role in leading our engineering team responsible for internal facing applications to support Cartology’s sales and operations teams. This includes CRM, sales support tooling, order management and inventory management platforms.
- Platform management responsibility for our CRM, inventory and order management platforms.
- Design review and architectural oversight of the business applications domain
- Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching engineers in the team
- Establish and maintain standards and frameworks for software development
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging innovation, professional growth, and knowledge sharing.
What you'll bring
You are a passionate and experienced Leader within Software Development that can demonstrate the following skills.
- Solid engineering background with Software development principles and CRM technologies like Salesforce, bespoke application development and/or integration technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services to include Event Driven Architecture
- Experience managing engineering and platform support teams responsible for multiple streams of work
- Experience designing robust data models, enterprise-level architectures and complex integrated solutions that are scalable, maintainable and adaptable to changing business needs
- Experience in CI/CD environments, using best practices for testing, including awareness of TDD and BDD.
