They provide a comforting and warm space filled with libraries, dining area, communal spaces, activity spaces, hairdressers, and of course, a bedroom and private bathroom for our residents.We’re looking for Casual Enrolled Nurses in our Corowa Court in Mornington, home to 120 residents.As an Enrolled Nurse in a residential home, a typical day will see you:
- Providing excellent, resident-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications
- Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies, and procedures and meeting accreditation standards
- Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required
- Applying sound decision-making skills to make effective use of all resources
- Providing employees with clear direction and guidance and actively promoting positive working relationships.

- A current AHPRA registration for Enrolled Nurse (diploma in nursing)
- The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
- An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
- A high level of accountability for your own work
- A friendly and positive attitude with the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour
