About the roleWe are seeking an Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated Wimmera Nursing Home team. This is a permanent and position and available for an immediate start and include working a rotating 7-day, 24-hour roster including participation in an on-call roster. This role involves performing person centred care to a diversity of resident under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with educational preparation and level of competence, to achieve and maintain the standard of care in line with our policies and objectives.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated organisational, computer and time management skills
- Commitment to customer service and resident centred care
- Demonstrated ability to conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of residents
Desirable:
- Minimum of 2 years post-basic experience in residential care

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Enrolled Nurse Grade 2 (IB68 - IB72) which ranges from $33.83 - $36.00 per hour.
All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
All employees must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical mask. Additional PPE requirements are role-dependent.
