Goodstart Early Learning is currently seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our IT Strategy and Architecture team. This role will work primarily to develop Solution Architectures, and will also work on Enterprise Architectures to provide additional context and guidance for any developed solution architectures within the overall planning context.
Your Impact:
- At the inception of initiatives, scope holistic people, process and technology solutions to solve the business challenges
- Lead discussions with senior executives and subject matter experts to elicit and formalise strategic business problems that would benefit from technology investments
- Work with senior executives and subject matter experts to evaluate high level solution options in order to maximise the return on investment from these options
- Develop conceptual and physical architecture models, demonstrating solution correctness at each iteration through solution validation against requirements and Enterprise Architecture Principles
- Working with project teams, develop solution architectures iteratively, ensuring continuous alignment with problems, benefits and the goals of the initiative
- Contribute to technology procurement processes by providing input into requirements formulation and evaluation
- Analyse available data to glean portfolio insights
- Identify savings across the Goodstart ICT portfolio through more intelligent use of technology or consolidation
- Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of PowerBI datasets and reports

You'll bring to the table:
- 5+ Years enterprise IT experience with 2+ Years producing solution architectures
- Experience working in the Microsoft Azure PaaS, IaaS, Power Platform, Logic & Function Apps.
- Experience following Solution Development Lifecycle processes
- Understanding of IT Service Management principles (ITIL)
- Knowledge of modern architecture techniques (e.g. event driven architectures, stream processing, LLMs)
- Experience with API design and security practices
- Containerization and PaaS approaches and tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker Container Services and other options within the Azure offering)
- The Open Group TOGAF Certification & Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications are desirable
- Experience writing business requirement and system specification documents
- Ability to work with ambiguity and visualize solutions for emerging concepts
- Demonstrates an ability to work with technical staff to explain new approaches to the application of technology, as well as listening to, and understanding the imperatives driving current technology practices and approaches
- Manages own time effectively and efficiently with the ability to prioritise tasks and manages workflow based on stakeholder priorities
- Has a high level of effective verbal and written communication skills to meet the understanding of "audience requirements" and has the ability to influence senior Stakeholders.
