Osborne Richardson are delighted to be partnering with Redland City Council on an Environment Systems Officer role based in Thornlands, QLD.
The Environment Systems Officer is responsible for providing environmental management and systems support across Council's assets and activities. The primary focus is to ensure that activities and projects do not harm the environmental assets of Redland City Council.
The position is responsible for undertaking environmental risk assessments, developing remedial action plans and auditing. The candidate will provide environmental management advice, support and training in regard to activities and projects carried out by Council and ensure that environmental management processes and systems are developed and maintained in accordance with relevant Federal and State legislation, environmental approvals and permits, and with the requirements of ISO14001.
Seeking candidates with a comprehensive knowledge of Environmental Management Systems, including the requirements and application of standard ISO14001.
Mandatory Criteria
Current 'C' class drivers licence
Professional qualifications in Environmental Science or an approved related discipline, or equivalent experience Criminal History check prior to appointment
