Environmental Field Advisor - Upstream Projects - 12 month contractLocation: Chinchilla and other Regional Queensland locations
Roster: 15/13More specifically, your role will include:

• Championing and role modeling HSSE Leadership to strengthen and maintain a positive and disciplined HSSE culture in client Upstream, which has evident line practice and accountability.
• Delivering HSSE support services in client Upstream, to implement and assure controls, drive continuous improvement, and enable delivery of world class health, safety, security and environmental performance.
• Partnering with construction teams to develop and implement effective HSSE culture and controls.
• Driving engagement and advocacy with a wide range of internal stakeholders, facilitating learning within client Upstream and working collaboratively with your HSSE Australia to share best practices and address common issues.

Furthermore, you will have:

• Deep commitment to Goal Zero and personal accountability.
• A Degree(s) or equivalent in a relevant science or environmental science discipline, or environmental management, or environmental engineering.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a frontline implementation role.
• Proven experience working with operational teams and positively impact HSE culture.
• Proven operational experience and knowledge of industry safety and environment risks.
• General knowledge of Queensland environment legislation and standards. Working knowledge in the application of HSE legislation, tools and techniques.
• Exposure to working with external stakeholders and familiarity with relationship & liaison skills.
• Interpersonal and presentation skills and a willingness to proactively connect stakeholders across the business.
• The courage to share views, insights, uncomfortable truths whilst accepting and supporting decisions made.
