Our client is a team of professionals providing multi-disciplinary, high-quality services to the infrastructure market. Their clients rely on them for expert technical consulting services.
Intro Recruitment currently have opportunities to work with one of Melbourne's fastest growing consultancy's, working within the Tier one space you will typically be working on infrastructure projects within the road and rail sectors on projects worth $100million and over.
This is a Melbourne based role and out of state applicants are encouraged to apply as there is relocation assistance provided
About the Role

• Plan and prepare environmental policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert of Environmental and Sustainability technical advice and support for bids, tenders and projects.
• Conduct environmental assessments, impact studies, and environmental audits as required.
• Work with project teams to identify and evaluate environmental risks and develop strategies to minimise impacts and mitigate risks for our clients.
• Develop and manage environmental monitoring plans, including air, water, and soil monitoring.
• Manage all environmental permits and regulatory approvals required for infrastructure projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Relevant experience in environmental management, preferably within the construction, or infrastructure industry.
• Extensive knowledge of Victoria's environmental legislation, regulations, and standards.
• Demonstrated experience in environmental management systems and monitoring programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Well-developed project management skills, including the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Tertiary qualification in environmental science or similar
