About the Role
We are seeking Food Services and Environmental Assistants to join the Maffra Team on a permanent part-time basis. The Food Service & Environmental Department is responsible for providing excellent hospitality services for the residents and patients of Maffra Hospital and JHF McDonald Wing. Duties
- Provision of food delivery of resident meals and associated cleaning
- Clean and sanitise cooking and food preparation area
- Assist in the preparation, pre-set and plating of food
- Maintaining legislative cleaning standards across Central Gippsland Health
About You
- Appropriate certification in Food Safety Practices or willingness to undergo (HLTFSE001 - Follow basic food safety practices)
- Safe handling of Chemicals
- Relevant vocational qualifications and/or preparedness to undertake appropriate training
