ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The ERP Business Analyst is focused on supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The analyst will work closely with the business units to understand their processes, request or issues and translate them into system requirements and solutions briefs for consideration or development, ensuring the ERP system aligns with business objectives and operational directions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather and document business requirements for ERP system enhancements and upgrades.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues.
- Assist in the configuration and customization of ERP modules to meet business needs and direction.
- Development and maintain of user manuals and training materials for ERP system users.
- Participate in ERP project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
- Contribute to the optimization of business processes through ERP system capabilities.
- Support and maintain Integration with ERP through EDI and API’s
- Work with external vendors and developers for enhancements and support.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) and testing, including regression, functional testing, and data validation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related experience.
- Understanding of business processes and how they integrate with ERP.
- Basic knowledge of ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP or similar systems, particularly in a support or analyst capacity.
- Familiarity with database management and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of systems development methodologies and project management principles.
