As the ERP Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting users as they transition from Microsoft Dynamics to Pronto. The ERP Support Specialist is a new role in our Company and your work will align with our Modernisation Program. In this role you will provide support to users in their new way of working. You will look for opportunities to continually improve business processes.

Reporting to the Pronto Project Director, the Primary purpose of the ERP Support Specialist position is to provide day-to-day ERP support, troubleshoot, create process documentation and provide training to users.
The role will need to understand all facets of the Company ERP system including: Navigation, transaction creation, Intercompany transactions, and basic setup requirements. Understanding of the Finance module is an advantage but not necessary.
Major Activities include:
- ERP Support: Identify the learning and support needs of the system users and implement effective methods to fill the gaps, such as training sessions, workshops, configuration changes
- Training: Lead the design, create and deliver effective training and self-help resources
- Insights and Continuous Improvement: Proactively measure effectiveness of the ERP, looking for bottlenecks & inefficiencies and identifying and implementing continuous improvements to streamline business operations
- User Administration: Back up to the ERP Systems Support role by setting up new users, modifying existing users, granting permissions and removal as required
- Configuration: Support in the development of Pronto Reports, create workflows, processes, communicate and support the IT Team/Pronto Project Team
In this role you will develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- Ability to troubleshoot errors, document and manage resolutions including through vendor support
- Pronto experience at a technical level (configuration)
- Cognos BI experience would be looked on favourably
- General business acumen and exposure to major business administration functions (eg: finance, purchasing, supply chain, inventory control and sales)
- Process & data mapping skills.
- Excellent communication skills. Quick learner. Attention to detail
- Enjoys working with across the organisation
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a small, committed project team
- Experience in training end-users on ERP systems is essential
- Ability to prioritise workload with excellent time management skills
