You bring upwards of 5 – 10 years' experience in a similar sustainability focused role and within relatable Real Estate markets. This opportunity will see you liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders, therefore excellent written and verbal communication is key. You will have relevant tertiary qualifications and ideally experience in Property Development and a passion for ESG. The Role
This role will find you responsible for the delivery of sustainability Services including energy, waste, water and indoor air quality. You will be reporting into Executive leadership team.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support governance and asset management functions.
- Manage the development and delivery of innovative projects that demonstrate leading practice and drive innovation in resource efficiency, low carbon solutions and sustainability.
- Oversight of environmental performance plans and initiative implementation.
- Engage with stakeholders to develop strategies and identify tactics to deliver outcomes that support the achievement of agreed sustainability targets.
- Co-ordinate activities of outsourced consultants in collaboration with the asset management team.
- Provide subject matter expertise to identify opportunities for resource and efficiency improvements.
- Support enhanced building performance by overseeing the delivery of building ratings.
- Manage the preparation of Fund environmental performance reports (e.g. carbon footprint, energy consumption, and waste performance)
- Build and maintain networks with appropriate organisations including government departments and agencies, consultancy services, and suppliers.
- Representation of the business to external committees, for example the PCA, asset management division and sustainability committee.
