The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team based in Tomago.
This role will support the growth and position within the industry by building effective customer relationships through good communication, high quality service and support. Reporting to the NSW Operations Manager, you will be responsible for accurate and efficient tendering.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Lead the management and development of tenders, quotations and offers
- Prepare quotes, offers, tenders and expressions of interest
- Manage standard cost information
- Strengthen, maintain, and develop existing and new customers
- Identify best practice for operations and implement approved strategies
- Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins according to agreed aims
- Analysing and reporting on trends
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following essential skills and experience:
- Proven success in estimating, contract management or project management in the Asphalt, Spray Seal or Bitumen industry
- Relevant qualifications in the engineering or similar field
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level negotiation and analytical skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing deadlines
