Key Responsibilities:
- Examine contract documents, including scope of works and specifications, during the tender phase.
- Create lump sum pricing and bill of quantities for various civil, utility, and infrastructure projects using first principle estimates and quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Implement risk management strategies and ensure safe construction practices while devising construction methodologies and schedules in collaboration with the construction team.
- Handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Prepare tenders ranging from $1 million to $50 million.
- Assess subcontractor and supplier quotations, and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
- Estimate and oversee projects from construction commencement to handover.
- Support the Construction and Commercial Teams in identifying and preparing variations and Extension of Time (EOT) requests in line with the head contract.
