Are you a detail-oriented and fast-paced professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the building industry? A dynamic company based in Campbellfield, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team.

Company: This tier 3 builder is a reputable firm with a diverse portfolio that includes projects in Education, Health, Sporting Facilities, Insurance, Retirement Living, and Residential sectors. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality New Builds, Renovations, and Refurbishments that exceed their clients’ expectations.

The Role: As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyzing plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Assessing cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Consulting with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or project manager & director to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.
