Role & Candidate
Reporting directly to the G.M., this role carries responsibility for managing the entire events function of our business. We are a multi-venue group and events are held concurrently across all venues at any one time. Professionalism, attention to detail and ability to multitask are key to this role. Specific duties and tasks include and are not limited to:
● Promoting functions and events to potential customers
● Manage function sales from initial enquiry through to event follow up, including meeting with prospective guests at each venue
● Arranging and coordinating services such as catering, signage, displays, audio-visual equipment for participants
● Organising registration of participants
● Negotiating the type and costs of services to be provided within budget
● Maintain online presence of the restaurants and its events– respond to reviews, update social media, draft EDMs, manage websites
● Liaise with customers to finalize event details and provide professional advice on event set-up
● Maintain close relationship and rapport with repeat clients
● Communicate and ensure compliance with other departments to ensure all preparations for the function or event have been made.
