Office Manager – Event Hire
Events in Tents is one of South East Queensland’s most prominent event hire businesses. A family owned and operated business, we are looking for an Office Manager to join our team.
About the Role
The Office Manager plays an integral role across our business, supporting the owner[RC2] to foster a positive safe work environment that delivers exceptional customer service to our customers.
Your responsibilities include;
- Take charge and ownership as we enter a growth phase/transition of our business.
- Management of operational daily tasks and stepping up as a leader when the Director is unavailable.
- Co-ordinated our work calendar and Hire booking system. Including providing up to date and accurate picking slips for the operations team.
- Management of warehouse and office consumables and stationery.
- Vehicle Fleet Management including fuel cards, Registration and COI renewals & servicing schedule.
- Monitor cleaning staff in warehouse.
- All aspects of Deputy app
- Writing rosters
- Approving and downloading timesheets for payroll
- On Boarding crew
- Co-Ordination of cross hire from suppliers
- Servicing customers as required.
- Managing customers through the quoting and invoicing process
About You
- Excellent communication skills
- Tech savvy with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Energetic team player who can roll up your sleeves and pitch in when required.
- Exceptional organisations skills and the ability to manage numerous projects at a time.
- Down to earth, and don’t take yourself too seriously.
- Likes to have a laugh at the right time.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
