We are looking for a Brisbane-based Event Sales/Booking Co-ordinator to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional organisational and sales skills, and have a keen eye for detail, we invite you to apply for our specialised role today.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients to help them in their venue and catering journey
- Acquiring new business along with maintaining and growing a portfolio of existing clients for in-house events and corporate functions
- Completing sales appointments, proposals, meet and greets and follow-up of all client interactions to ensure client satisfaction and closing deals
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years' industry experience with a real passion for corporate events
- Experience within the hospitality/hotel/events or catering industry is essential, and experience in corporate or large-scale event sales in a client facing role would be highly regarded
- Knowledge of the social market and trends within Brisbane and Australia
- You will be able to demonstrate solid sales experience with a record of achieving targets
The ideal candidate should have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent personal presentation
- Familiar with using CRM”s and creating sales funnels
- Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong administration and time management skills
- Integrity demonstrated through words, thoughts and actions
- Determined and courageous to reach goals and be challenged
- Shows passion in what they do to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Builds trust through all forms of communication and relationships

- Have existing contacts and databases of clients to hit the ground running
