AddressMounts Bay Sailing Club (MBSC) is a vibrant community hub nestled in Crawley, Perth, renowned for its picturesque views and rich sailing heritage. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional events and fostering a welcoming environment for members and guests alike.
Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Bar & Event Operations Management:
- Oversee all aspects of bar operations, maintaining compliance with liquor licensing regulations.
- Recruit, train, and supervise casual bar staff to uphold high standards of service.
- Handle event inquiries, conduct venue tours, and finalize booking details with clients.
- Coordinate event setup, manage suppliers, and ensure all client requirements are met.
- Manage inventory, negotiate contracts, and monitor budgets for bar supplies.
- Business Development:
- Maintain and coordinate club events and fundraising activities.
- Develop and execute promotional strategies to enhance club visibility and revenue.
- Manage sponsorship agreements and cultivate relationships with sponsors.
- Research and apply for grants to support club programs and infrastructure enhancements.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with office, sailing, canteen and management committee teams.
- Collaborate with canteen staff on menu planning and weekly operations.
- Supervise events and maintenance staff to ensure venue presentation meets club standards.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- RSA and Approved Bar Manager's License.
- Proven experience in bar and events management, with a track record of successful event execution.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and drive business growth.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as per event schedules.
